Do I need a LeaninTree.com account to create photo cards?
No, you do not need a LeaninTree.com account! However, if you have a LeaninTree.com account, you will be able to save your photos for future use in other photo cards.

How long will it take to process my photo card order?
We will begin processing your order one hour after you complete it. It takes about 3 business days to process and print your order. During the peak periods such as December, it may take up to 5 business days to process and print.

Will I receive envelopes with my order?
Yes, every greeting card you order comes with an envelope. Leanin' tree Photo cCards come with your choice of Blue or White gold-foil lined envelopes. If you do not select an envelope, the White envelope will be sent to you.

How do I change my envelope color?
After you have added your completed photo card to your shopping cart, the “Item Added” page is displayed. At the top of the page is a picture of the card front (without your photos or copy changes). To the right of the picture is the envelope choice function. Click on “Change/Display Envelope” text link.
You will then see a pop-up with a picture of the two envelope choices. Simply click on the radio button next to envelope color of your choice and click the submit button.

What kind of paper is used to print photo cards?
Photo Cards are printed on forest-use sustainable, 111 pound white card stock with a soft sheen coating.

Do i have to download any special programs or tool to create a photo card?
No, our proprietary photo card tool resides on our server. You do not need to download anything to create your photo cards.

Is there a minimum order quantity?
No, we do not require a minimum order quantity or charge a setup fee for a single card. You may order as many or as few as you’d like, including just one card!

Can I use more than one photo in my card?
Yes! You decide how many photos you want to include when you choose the formats for the inside and back of your photo card. Some photo cards are designed for photos on the card front; all cards are designed for either one or two photos on the inside, or as many 2 or three photos on the back. Or you may choose no photos at all!

What kind of photo files can I use??
Your file must be a .jpg, .jpeg or .png format. For optimal image resolution, the maximum individual file size is 10MB, the minimum is 300KB.

Who is responsible for the accuracy?
You are. Please preview the front, inside and back of your cards carefully. Pay special attention to the photos and to the personalization you have included. We print exactly what you enter and are not responsible for typographical or image design errors.

Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, you will! After you submit your order, you will see an order confirmation screen thanking you for your order. Once you receive this message screen, please be assured we have received your order.
If you would like to keep a record of your order, please use your browser’s print function to print your order confirmation.
(NOTE: If you provide your e-mail address with your order we will send you three e-mails regarding the status of your order. The first e-mail message is an immediate receipt of your order; the second e-mail is a notification that your order is being processed; and the third e-mail is sent to notify you of when your order has shipped.)

Will I be notified when my order is shipped?
Yes, if you provide your e-mail address with your order, we will send you an e-mail letting you know your order has shipped. This is third in the series of order transaction messages you will receive regarding your order. What is your refund policy?
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We take great care to provide you with the best product possible. If there is a problem with the craftsmanship of your custom printed cards, we will promptly and cheerfully refund your money! /p>
We regret that we cannot offer refunds for cards that contain spelling, punctuation, or other text errors, or for custom image cards that are poorly composed or that did not initially meet our size requirements for printing.

Creating your Photo Card...
How do I create a photo card?
You can create your photo cards in just a few easy steps:
- Choose your card
- Select the card you want.
- Click the ‘Personalize Now’ button.
- The card designer application will begin.
- Personalize the front, inside, or back of your card.
- Select the desired design template by clicking the preferred design. If multiple templates are available, they will be displayed on the left hand side of your screen.
- To add a photo, simply click on any box with the words "Click to Add Photo". Select an existing photo or Upload the photo of your choice by clicking on the ‘Upload Button’. Navigate to your photo directory, select the photo desired, and then click open. Your photo will be uploaded and inserted into your photo card.
- Customize the greetings, verses and photo captions by first moving the mouse pointer over the text to be changed and then clicking into the text box. Remember to click “Done”!
- Preview your card
- Be sure to preview the front, inside, and back customizations and photos.
- Add to Cart
- Click on the Add to Cart button from the preview function.
- Click on the box to agree to the Terms and Agreement Conditions (after reading, of course).
- Click on the Add to Cart button one last time.
- Select your envelope
- Click on “Change/Display Envelope” text link located to the right of the card image.
- Click on the on the radio button next to envelope color of your choice.
- Click the submit button.
- Request Return Envelope imprinting
- Click on ‘Envelope Return Address – Free’ text.
- Complete the information on the form.
- Click Save.

Can I start a photo card and finish it later?
No, we do not currently support a "start now and finish later" function.

Can I write my own verse?
Yes, you can create and personalize the text of your card. Each design provides several layouts with many areas for text.
When you see “Your Name Here” or “Enter a Caption”, or if you want to change or create a verse, simply mouseover the words you want to change and a box will appear. Right click in the box and type your personal message. Remember to click “Done”!

Can I change the size, color, or font on my photo card?
Yes, you may change the size, color, or font. If you are changing a verse or adding personalization, the text balloon provides a drop-down list for the font-style, size, color and even text alignment.
If the font-style or size will cause your words to wrap out-of-bounds, a warning message will be displayed. Please reduce the amount of text or font size or change font-styles to ensure all of your personalization will be printed.

How do I upload my photos for a photo card?
- Once you are in the ‘Card Designer’ application, right click in any square with ‘Click to Add Photo’.
- Click ‘Add Photo’ button.
- Use the browsing function to locate the directory where your photo is located.
- Select the photo, click ‘Open’.
- Your photo will be uploaded to the photo workbench area and into the card.
If the photo you wish to use has already been uploaded, simply click on the photo and it will be placed in your photo card.
To use a different photo, click on the photo. Then click on the red ‘X’ in the dialogue box.
To edit your photo, click on the photo. Use the dialogue box to:
- Zoom - Move the slider bar to the right to zoom. Warning: this may cause distortion when printing.
- Reposition – Click on the hand, then the photo to reposition. Warning: if a white border is displayed after repositioning, the border will be printed.
- Rotate – click on the curved arrows to the left or right to change the orientation of the photo.
- Click "Done" when finished.

What kind and size of photos may I use?
Your file must be a .jpg, .jpeg or .png format. For optimal image resolution, the maximum individual file size is 10MB, the minimum is 300KB.
If you decide to upload a photo that is not within the recommended size range, please be aware that we cannot improve the photo quality, and the image in your card may be fuzzy.

Will the photos in my photo card look like my photographs?
We will always do everything possible to create a high-quality photo card. However, the photo image in a custom card will not look the same as a photographic print due to differences in the processes of printing and of photo development. For the best results, please start with a clear, high-contrast photo.

Is there a spell-check function?
Yes, there is a limited function spell-check available. When you are creating your personalization or customizing your verse and a word is misspelled, the misspelled word will be underlined in red. Right click on the underline and alternate word choices will be provided, left click on the word of your choice and it will replace the misspelled word.
Your greeting, message or signature will not be spell-checked or edited in any way after you submit your card order. Therefore, it is important that you carefully review the spelling of text before ordering to make sure it is exactly how you want it to appear on your card.

Can I proof my card before completing the order?
Absolutely! In fact, proofing your card is required before you can place it in your shopping cart. Once you have completed the front, inside, and back of your photo card, a preview card button is displayed in the upper right corner. Click on the button.
Your photos and personalization will be ‘rendered’, and a preview of your finished card will be presented to you. Please review the front, inside, and back of your card. Pay special attention to the photos and to the personalization you have included. We will print exactly what you see on your photo card preview.
