How do I create a Premium Account E-Card Subscription?

You can create your Premium Account Subscription by clicking on Subscribe Now when sending an E-Card that requires a Premium Account. Or, you can also access the Subscribe Now button after setting up a Standard Account (see “What does “Create new account” mean, and why do I need one?”).

After clicking Subscribe Now you will see a screen where you can log in to your Standard Account if you have created an account, OR you can create a Standard Account if you haven’t already. After creating the Standard Account and clicking the Save button, you will see the Premium Account subscription page. Your one-year subscription is just $9.95, and you can enjoy a Risk-Free 7-Day Trial Period—if you’re not completely satisfied, simply cancel within the 7-day trial at no cost!

Below are the steps for creating a Premium Account E-Card Subscription:

Step 1: Enter Subscription Information

Your Billing Address information will automatically load with the mailing address contained on your Standard Account if you have already entered the information there. If not, simply enter your billing information in the spaces provided. Click Next, and you will be taken to a confirmation screen which displays your account billing information.

Step 2: Confirmation of Billing Information

This screen displays your account billing information. To confirm the accuracy of the information click Next, or click Back to re-enter any incorrect information. After clicking Next on the confirmation page, you will arrive at a payment screen.

Step 3: Payment

Please enter the credit card information requested.

Enter the name on your card, card number, choose your card type (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) and enter the CVV2 code on the back of your card. CVV2 Codes, also known as verification numbers, are 3- or 4- digit codes found on most major credit cards. Requiring the CVV2 code helps protect against theft. Then use the drop-down boxes to indicate the expiration date (month and year) for your card.

Next you will see two option boxes. Check the first box if you want uninterrupted service and would like to renew your subscription automatically when it expires. (We will notify you in advance and provide you an opportunity to change your mind!)

Also be sure to check the box that indicates your acceptance of Leanin’ Tree Terms of Service Agreement. You can click on Terms of Service to read and review the agreement terms before accepting them. To proceed, click Finish.

Step 4: Account Confirmation

This screen will thank you for your subscription and provide you all your account details, including the date your trial period ends, the date your credit card will be charged, the amount it will be charged, and the date your subscription will expire. Be sure to print this page for your records.

If you’re not completely satisfied, you may cancel your subscription during your trial period by going to the “My Account” section in the upper right corner, and then click on “Subscription” in the upper left-hand corner. Your credit card will not be charged until the end of your trial period.

Lastly, you will receive another message from LeaninTree.com [Twila.Green@LeaninTree.com] when your credit card is charged. (Please add Twila.Green@LeaninTree.com to your preferred contacts list to ensure you receive this and other e-mails related to your subscription.) Thank you for your Premium Account E-Card Subscription—you can now enjoy sending unlimited E-Cards to friends and family right away!

How do I change my Password?

Simply click on “Login” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. After logging in, click on “My Account” also shown in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. A page will appear containing your account information. Click on “Change Password” on the left-hand side of the page. A screen will appear with boxes prompting you to enter your Old Password, your New Password, and asking you to Confirm your new password. After entering the required information, click Save. A message will appear to confirm your password has been successfully changed.

I forgot my Username or password!

We all forget things from time to time, and we’ve made it easy for you to retrieve your username or password.

1) One way is to click on or copy/paste the following link into your browser: http://leanintree.com/ForgotPassword.aspx

2) Or, another option is to simply click on “Login to your account” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. From there, you can then click on “Forgot your username or password?”

Either way you choose (#1 or #2 above), a screen will appear that prompts you to enter your e-mail address in the box shown. Click submit. An e-mail will then be sent to the e-mail address you provided with instructions to reset your password. (IF you do not receive a message from TwilaGreen@LeaninTree.com within 30 minutes, please add Twila.Green@LeaninTree.com to your safe list.)

The message you receive from Twila.Green@Leanintree.com will contain your username, and will provide a clickable link whereby you can change your password. After clicking the link (or if you prefer, you can copy/paste the provided web address into your browser), a screen will appear with boxes where you will enter a new password, confirm the password, then click Save. Lastly, you will see a message that your password has been successfully changed.

Can I subscribe without a credit card?

We’re sorry, but no, not at this time. We currently do not have a process in place that allows you to create an account and mail a check to cover the costs. We apologize for this inconvenience.

How does the free trial work?

To provide you an opportunity to try our e-cards before committing to a subscription, you will automatically be given a "risk-free trial period" when you sign-up for a Premium Account E-Card Subscription. This trial period is usually 7 days in length, and is only available the first time you register for a subscription.

During this free trial period, you may send as many e-cards as you like, and you may select from all the e-cards available. No limitations!

Your subscription confirmation will inform you of the date your trial period ends. On that date, your credit card will be charged. If you cancel your subscription before your trial period expires, your credit card will not be charged. If you do not cancel your subscription, your credit card will be charged on the date your trial period ends.

Tell me about the Premium Account E-card Subscription

A Leanin’ Tree Premium Account E-Card Subscription enables you to send unlimited E-Cards from the entire Leanin’ Tree e-card collection. During the current introductory phase, a Leanin’ Tree Premium Account E-Card Subscription is just $9.95 for one full year. All new subscriptions include a 7-day trial period that allows subscribers to use and evaluate the E-Cards. During this trial period, you may cancel your subscription. If you do not cancel after the 7-day trial period, you many continue to use the E-Cards for the full duration of your subscription.

When you create a subscription, you have two choices for how to continue the subscription at the end of its term. You may choose to auto-renew your subscription at the end of the current subscription period, which ensures continued, uninterrupted access to the Leanin’ Tree E-Cards. Or you may choose to manually renew at the end of your subscription period.

Can I cancel my E-Card Subscription?

Yes. During your E-Card trial period, and in the last 30 days of your subscription, you may cancel your subscription.

To cancel your account:

During your E-Card trial period:

Sign into your account: Your account information, including the start and end date of your subscription, will be displayed. * Click on the text link: “Cancel my Subscription” located directly below your subscription dates.

You will be asked to confirm your cancellation. Click “Yes, Cancel.”

A cancellation confirmation screen will display, and an e-mail confirming the cancellation will be sent to the e-mail address on the account.

If you change your mind, simply sign-in to your account, and click on the Edit button. Ensure “the reactivate my account box” has been checked. Click to check the terms and services checkbox, click Submit, then click “complete my subscription” on the next page, and your account is reactivated!

During the last 30 days of your subscription period:

We will send you a reminder notice that your subscription will expire in 30 days. During this time, you may choose not to renew your account. If your account is:

Manually Renewed: No need to do anything, your account will automatically expire unless you provide new credit card information. We will send you an e-mail when your account has expired. If you wish, you may follow the instructions for the trial period cancellation.

Auto-Renewed: Follow the instructions for the trial period cancellation.

Can I set up my account to automatically log-in?

Yes. Simply “Sign In” to your account, and before you click the “Sign-In” button, click the check box to “Remember me on this computer.” You will automatically be logged into your account every time you come back.

Is the E-Card I received valid?

In response to current concerns of fraudulent E-Card e-mails claiming to be from reputable E-Card providers, Leanin’ Tree and LeaninTree.com is doing everything we can to protect you from fraudulent E-Card e-mails claiming to be from us!

One way is to help you identify valid E-Card notifications from LeaninTree.com. If you have any doubt as to whether or not your E-Card notice is valid and truly from LeaninTree.com, please look for these four specific items:

Subject line: (The senders name) has sent you a LeaninTree.com E-Card!

From Address : Senders Name [Senders email address ]

The pickup link in your E-Card notification message will always begin with www.leanintree.com. We will never use an IP address to direct you to a website.

If you get an E-Card e-mail and you don’t see all of these attributes, it is most likely not from us. Please do not click on any links within the suspicious e-mail.

Manually retrieving your E-Card
If you do not recognize the senders e-mail address, but you believe the E-Card to be valid, you may pick up your E-Card by going directly to our website to retrieve your E-Card by:

1. Physically typing in our web address (www.LeaninTree.com) into your browser

2. Go to the E-Card pickup link in the left navigation bar

3. Enter your specific greeting card code

Bogus E-Cards If you believe you have received an invalid E-Card notice, do not click on any links within that e-mail.

Please forward your notice to Info@Leanintree.com and we will investigate.

Can I send E-Cards without becoming a Leanin' Tree Premium Account E-Card Subscriber?

Yes. Leanin’ Tree provides a small selection of FREE E-Cards to enable you to try the service without obligation. Just look for the E-Cards with “FREE” underneath the thumbnail image. For access to ALL Leanin’ Tree E-Cards, you will need a Leanin’ Tree Premium E-Card Account subscription.

Why wasn't my E-Card received?

When a recipient doesn't receive your E-Card, the problem is often a typing error. Double-check the accuracy of your recipient's e-mail address. It's also possible that your recipient, or the recipient’s Internet service provider, has mistakenly interpreted our e-mail notification as unwanted and has placed our notification message in a junk/spam folder. Another possibility is that the recipient’s ISP or firewall is blocking e-mails from our e-mail server.

If a recipient doesn't receive your E-Card, just forward the e-mail confirmation you received from us to the recipient. This confirmation contains the URL that will take your recipient to the viewing page on our E-Card site. You might also ask the recipient to add Twila.Green@leanintree.com to his/her list of accepted senders, or add Leanintree.com to his/her list of accepted domains.
