What are cookies?

In general, cookies are small text files that web sites place in your computer to help your web browser remember specific information.

On the Leanin' Tree web site, we use a cookie to make your shopping experience easier and more enjoyable. Our cookie retains your viewing preference and information about your order, including information about any offers to which you are entitled. There is no information in the cookie which could be used to identify you to any other computer.

When you complete your order and receive your order confirmation, the cookie is deleted. In the event you do not complete your order, your cookie will stay for 3 days enabling you to return to complete your order at your leisure.

How do I turn cookies on?

Most web browsers come out-of-the-box with cookies turned on. If you are using a computer in a Library or other public points of access, you may not be able to change the web browser settings. Since each web browser is different, the best thing to do is to select "Help" from your web browsers' menu, and search for "cookies".

For our AOL customers: AOL has developed a page for users who wish to learn how to enable and disable cookies in browsers. To access their information, please click here: //webmaster.info.aol.com/cookieguide.html
