Steam engine and pair of caboose in railyard

As we celebrate the arrival of this festive time of year, sending wishes for a season filled with good, old-fashioned cheer!

Additional Verse:

The Twentieth Century Limited awaits departure at the LaSalle Street Station in Chicago, Illinois in this scene from the 1940s. Powering the train is a New York Central Railroad "Hudson" type 4-6-4, famous for delivering superb and dependable passenger service between New York City and Chicago. The prototype for the Lionel O-gauge model, the "Hudson" locomotive was the powerful engine of choice for many of the major railroads of the era.
